There Montescudaio wine festival represents for our company one of the most anticipated and heartfelt events of the year.
There are two main reasons.
One is related to the time of year as we breathe and live in this time of year harvest, Lsmell of fermenting musts and theemotion of a new product that is being born.
The second reason is the contact with people that every year they come to visit us, filling a tiring period but full of satisfaction, with even more energy and happiness.
This is the wine, the desire to share, from talk, from exchange emotions and visions which are often hidden behind an excellent glass.
We within ours "Cantine del Gusto" in the heart of the town we live these two days as an active part, giving voice to one of the most historic and important areas of wine-growing Tuscany.
In this festival the whole town suddenly wakes up with music, food and of course excellent wine.
We at Tenuta la Macchia have always wanted to contribute fully to an event that crowns the meeting between visitors, companies and the smell of harvest.
What is the wine festival?
There Wine festival represents the most anticipated event of the year. The two-day program includes wine tastings of the Montescudaio DOC Wine Consortium (with tasting kit), street food, typical dishes in the streets of the village and in the Piazzale del Castello, with the opening of the refreshment points for dinner and lunch on Sunday.
There will be musical performances from blues, to folk to jazz, a space for young people. At the end of the party, a fireworks display. This two days is recognized as one of the most important wine events in Tuscany.
When is it held?
It is generally held in the first weekend of October each year and we of the "Tenuta La Macchia" we will be present as a complete active part of the event.
We are therefore waiting for you in Montescudaio for two fantastic days dedicated to wine!
